The Community Award for 2020 has been delayed due to COVID19 restrictions at the Kent Association of Local Council Offices and the framed certificates have only recently become available. Usually this is awarded in April when the Parish Council hold the Annual Parish Meeting but as this was cancelled this year due to COVID19 restrictions, the secret had to be kept for a lot longer.
The 2020 Award was made to Steve Proud for his work with the Friends of All Saints Church and other village activities.
The Parish Council will be considering their nomination for the 2021 Award at their meeting on the 10th January. There have been several nominations, but others can still be made to the Clerk by 10th January. The award will be kept secret until April (COVID19 permitting)
