Community Award 2026

At the Annual Parish Meeting (29/4), the 2026 Communuty Award was presented to Mick Smith by the Deputy Mayor of Medway.Wayne Spring.

Mick was nominated by the Parish Council to recognise his work as one of the Street Cleaners for over 12 years and his voluntary work for Slough Fort, the Village Hall and other groups around the village and individually..

The KALC awards are held annualy and awarded to a group or individuals that are recognised for all the do in the village. The 2026 nomination will be sought in November 2026 to eary January 2027 and presented at the Annual Parish Meeting in April 2027.
