Allhallows Parish Council is pleased to announce that the Defibrillator and Bleed Control Kit (a first in the area) has now been activated. Located in a newly refurbished telephone box at the corner of Stoke Road, Avery Way and Ratcliffe Highway, the box is on the historic location of the former telephone box.
This was funded by the Parisg Council with additional funding from the Chair (Chris Draper) and contributions for the ward funds of Cllr Phil Filmer and the Cllr Pendergast who pssed away in October. Medway Council helped by providing the mains power connection that provide lighting for the telephone box and the defibrillator box (warms up the box in the coldest weather and cools it when it gets hot)m the defibrillator itself is powered by a long-life battery. The bleed kit provides first aid equipment and instructions on how to treat serious blood injuries.

The Defibrillator Box is protected by a combination lock - the code will be supplied by the Ambulance Service (999 Call) and an ambulace dispatchedat the same time if necessary.
