Following meetings of residents to consider the production of a Neighbourhood Plan for Allhallows, the Parish Council agreed to submit the formal designation of the area as a Neigngourhood Plan area to Medway Council. They are now carrying out the formal consultation of that designation (the map of the area is on display in Cross Park and the Community Hub at All Saints Church.

A steering group or residents and councillors is required to develop the plan and consult with all residents on how they see the are develop over the next 15 years For an introduction into what is involved in a Neighbourhood Plan

The plan needs to be based on the Medway Local Plan that is due to be published for consultaton in July (and aiming for adoption in 2026), this will cover many topics but especially where they designate housing developments across the unitary authority area.
