Following the removal of the restriction on the use of the Play Equipment in the Recreation Ground, from Saturday 4th July, the equipment can be used, but there does need to be caution are the recommendations are:

Users, Parents, Guardians and Carers use the play equipment and accept responsibility for:
Maintaining Social Distancing principles – Keep 6’ apart where possible, especially other family groups. Consider Face Coverings.

We advise: Self-cleaning of equipment by Users, Parents, Guardians and Carers, particularly where there are clear touchpoints such as spring rockers, Multi-Play, Basket Swing, slides and swings, especially handles and bars.
A wipe down of Picnic tables and benches before and after use.

We encourage: Parents etc. to bring hand sanitiser gel or wipes to clean their children’s hands.
Hand hygiene, including washing/sanitising hands more often than usual, for 20 seconds using soap and water or approved gel and foam sanitiser, particularly at the beginning and end of play.

We advise: Users (or parents of users) not to touch their faces, and to cough or sneeze into a tissue or arm when a tissue is not available.
Adults and children not to put their mouths on equipment or their hands in their mouths.
If necessary, limit the number of users on equipment to maintain social distancing.

Please take your rubbish home with you.

The Parish Council will continue regular rubbish collection and bin emptying and occasional equipment wipe-down and regular checks of the Play Area and equipment.
