The Brick Store (part of the Brimp Youth Centre, which was historically part of Sough Fort) was upgraded in 2019. It had a new roof and internal ceiling, walls, flooring and electrical wiring.

A Planning Application MC/21/0852 for the construction of a single storey extension using the existing base and partial walls to side and rear.

A building contractor has been appointed, subject to planning approval, so the aim is to start as soon as possible.

This will provide a base for further activities at the Youth Centre and provide a music rehearsal and recording studio facility for local youth and across Medway. Discussions about equipping the Brick Store have been delayed by COVID-19 restrictions but are still active.
